The role

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing sales activities and processes, deriving actionable insights from data and analytics, strategy and execution of compensation and quota management, and aligning opportunity sales strategy.

The Sales Professional knows and shares our story; they drive profitable sales growth aligned to strategy and offerings. Collaborate with the CEO to drive good sales at our accounts. You will lead consultative sales campaigns from origination to close, driving profitable growth. Working with our COO and Accounts Team, you will lead our most complex sales pursuits to ensure growth targets are met.

Responsibilities

Work with the field sales teams to identify opportunities for improvement

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue and customer acquisition by prospecting outbound and inbound leads and qualifying opportunities.

  • Execute a personalized outreach strategy, including cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Ensure the sales process is simple, easy to follow, and scalable for the rest of the team
  • Follow up on demand-generation activities such as webinars, conferences, field marketing events, pattern events, etc.
  • Work closely with the C-Suite and team in developing the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches.
  • Report and provide insights to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the sales management team
  • Extensive use of HubSpot CRM and other tools to build and maintain accurate activity, such as contact and account information of all customers and prospects.
  • Introduce Capicua capabilities to potential new clients
  • Drive overall process to combine technical plans and creative concepts into proposals and presentations while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Lead pitches meet and exceed sales goals and close deals to develop strategic client relationships.

Requirements

  • At least three to five years in a field sales role
  • Minimum of two years closing services deals in software/application outsourcing, digital transformation, team augmentation, cloud migration, etc.
  • Experience and passion for selling technology solutions
  • Understanding of software development and design trends
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms. Be coachable and flexible with feedback and new ideas.
  • Strong analytical skills and can derive actionable insights from data.
  • Customer Acumen – Can actively understand each customer’s business problems, technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills: The role will need to interact with clients constantly, so you should be very clear and structured in verbal and written communication.
  • Thoughtfulness and helpfulness: Our main goal is to ensure that our product and service best fit the client's current needs. You should first aim to serve clients well and then close deals.
