The role

If you are a competitive problem-solver and are looking for an early seat on a rocketship with growth opportunities, this role is for you.

As a Sales Development Representative at Capicua, you’ll work with our Sales Team Leader in helping grow our customer base. With the Sales Team collaboration, you’ll drive Capicuas’s growth by identifying and creating new qualified opportunities within our target market.

You will be engaged in sales activities and processes, deriving actionable insights from data and analytics, strategy and execution of compensation and quota management, and aligning opportunity sales strategy.

The Sales Development Representative will carry out quantitative analysis and explanation of relevant data and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions.

You will work with the Sales Leaders to ensure our Opportunity management is consistent, accurate, and up to date.

You will also help drive strategic projects and initiatives that help streamline the sales process.


Responsibilities

  • Work to identify new opportunities within target verticals
  • Generate interest and create opportunities with new prospects via strategic email campaigns, cold calling, Linkedin, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects
  • Conduct high-level consultative conversations with C-Level executives in prospect accounts
  • Book qualified meetings for the Enterprise AE team
  • Ask open-ended questions to prospects that uncover business needs and overcome objections
  • Meet and exceed your daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals
  • Working directly with prospects and colleagues to secure monthly and quarterly contracts with new clients. A go-getter mentality with strong closing skills is required.
  • Qualification of opportunities by understanding the business challenges at prospect organizations, asking the right questions, and recognizing a functional fit for our offerings.
  • Crafting and delivering compelling solution proposals that accurately demonstrate value and illustrate a strong ROI utilizing the tools and templates provided.
  • Identify and define market-driven high-level requirements for solution functionality to drive revenue growth and customer retention.

Requirements

  • At least two years in an SDR or BDR role.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work.
  • Understanding and interest in software development and design trends
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms. Be coachable and flexible with feedback and new ideas.
  • Analytical skills and can derive actionable insights from data.
  • Can actively understand each customer’s business problems, technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills: The role will need to interact with clients, so you should be very clear and structured in verbal and written communication.
  • Thoughtfulness and helpfulness: Our main goal is to ensure that our product and service best fit the client's current needs. You should first aim to serve clients well and then close deals.
